- Epithelial tissue গুলোকে মূলত ৪ ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়:
1. Simple epithelium
a) Simple squamous epithelium
b) Simple cuboidal epithelium
c) Simple columnar epithelium
2. Stratified epithelium
a) Stratified squamous epithelium
b) Stratified cuboidal epithelium
c) Stratified columnar epithelium
3. Pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium
4. Transitional epithelium
এখন এই epithelial tissue র distribution গুলো আমরা সহজে জানার চেষ্টা করি।
- SIMPLE EPITHELIUM
a) SIMPLE SQUAMOUS EPITHELIUM: এই epithelial tissue টি মূলত exchange ও filtration করতে সাহায্য করে।
★ Distribution:
MNEMONICS- BAME
B= Bowman’ s capsule
A= Alveoli of lungs
M= Mesothelium (lining epithelium of serous body cavity)
E= Endothelium (lining epithelium of blood vessel)
b) SIMPLE CUBOIDAL EPITHELIUM: এই epithelial tissue টি মূলত secretory function এর সাথে সম্পর্কিত।
★ Distribution:
MNEMONICS- ROTS
R= Renal tubules
O= Ovary (geminal epithelium)
T= Thyroid follicle
S= Salivary and sweat gland
c) SIMPLE COLUMNAR EPITHELIUM: এই epithelial tissue টি মূলত absorption এ সাহায্য করে এবং glandular epithelium হিসেবে কাজ করে।
★ Distribution:

B= Bile duct, brain ventricle
I= Intestine
G= Gall bladder
S= Stomach
I= Inner epithelium of enamel
R= Rectum
V=Vas deferens
E= Epididymis, endocervix
F= Fallopian tube
2. STRATIFIED EPITHELIUM:
Stratified epithelium মূলত friction
এ সাহায্য করে।
★ Distribution:
MNEMONICS- LEAVE GOO
L= Laryngopharynx, lip
E= Epidermis
A= Anus
V= Vagina, vocal cord
E= Esophagus, ectocervix
G= Gingiva
O= Oropharynx
O= Oral cavity
***Stratified squamous আবার ২ রকমের হতে পারে।
i) Keratinized stratified squamous epithelium– শরীরের শুষ্ক স্থানগুলো এই epithelial tissue দ্বারা আবৃত হয়। যেমন- Epidermis of the skin
ii) Non- keratinized stratified squamous epithelium– শরীরের আর্দ্রতা যুক্ত স্থানগুলো এই epithelial tissue দ্বারা আবৃত হয়। যেমন- epidermis of skin ব্যতীত উপরোক্ত অন্য উদাহরণ গুলো।
★ Distribution of stratified cuboidal epithelium:
i) Ovarian follicle
ii) Exocrine gland and exocrine duct
★ Distribution of stratified columnar epithelium:
i) Male urethra
ii) Conjunctiva
3. PSEUDO- STRATIFIED CILIATED COLUMNAR EPITHELIUM: এই epithelial tissue টি মূলত air transport এ সাহায্য করে এবং cilia থাকে যার কারণে ciliary beat দ্বারা অযাচিত বস্তুকে বাইরে বের করে দেয়।
★ Distribution:
MNEMONICS- Plz NoT Bark
P= Paranasal sinuses
N= Nasal cavity, nasopharynx
T= Trachea
B= Bronchi
- TRANSITIONAL EPITHELIUM: এই epithelium tissue টি urine এর reabsorption রোধ করে যেহেতু cell গুলোর মাঝে gap junction বিদ্যমান এবং surface cell গুলো ছাতার মতো ছড়িয়ে পড়ে bladder distension এ সাহায্য করে।

U= Ureter
U= Urinary bladder
U= Urethra
