ওরাল পিল সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত
Combined pill
এই কমবাইন্ড পিলে ৩০-৩৫mcg synthetic oestrogen এবং ০.৫থেকে১.০mg Progestogen
এই পিল মুখে খেতে হয় ২১ দিন (মাসিক শুরু হবার ১ম দিন থেকে) ২১ দিন কমপ্লিট হবার পরের ৭ দিন আয়রন ট্যাবলেট খেতে হবে। কিন্তু ৫ম দিনেও শুরু করা যাবে। যদি কোনো ব্লিডিং(রক্তপাত) না হয় তাহলে দিকনির্দেশনা দিবো শুরু করায় ২য় সইকেল এর ১ সপ্তাহ পর
b) Progestogens-একমাএ পিল(POP)-মিনি পিল অথবা মাইক্রো পিল। এটা কেবলমাত্র Progestogen বহন করে থাকে (Norecthisterone & Levonorgestrel) শুধুমাত্র বয়স্ক নারীদের ক্ষেএে এটা প্রেসক্রাইব করা হয়, কমবয়সী নারীদের ক্ষেত্রে রিস্ক আছে এটার।
c) Post coital contraception -পোস্ট কয়টাল অথবা সকাল বেলা রিকমেন্ড করা হয় ৭২ ঘন্টার মধ্যে অনিরাপদ দৈহিক সম্পর্কের। Levonorgestrel ৭২ ঘন্টার ভেতর ই নিতে হবে প্রতিদিন ২ টা করে টোটাল ৫ দিন।
D) Male pill : a derivative of cotton seed oil. it is effective in producing azospermia or severe oligospermia. in some case azoospermia if use for 6 months.

ধরো কোনক্রমে তুমি রাতের বেলা ওরাল পিল খেতে ভুলে গেলে তাহলে কি করবে?
উওর হল পরের রাতে তুমি রেগুলার পিলের সাথে এক্সট্রা আগের দিনের বাদ পড়ে যাওয়া পিলটা খাবে।
এরকম ২য় বার হলে অবশ্যই যখন মনে পড়বে যে পিল খেতে ভুল হয়ে গেছে সাথে সাথে আগের দিনেরটা খেয়ে নিবে। এবং রাতে রেগুলার পিল কনটিনিউ করবে।
কোনক্রমে ৩ দিন এমন হলে আর ডাবল পিল খাওয়ার দরকার নাই। ওইদিন এর পিল খাবে আর অবশ্য ই দৈহিক সম্পর্কের ক্ষেত্রে Barrier method অবলম্বন করবে।
