রাজু খুবই চিন্তিত আজকের ফরেন্সিক ভাইভা নিয়ে😞 এরপর ই তার সিরিয়াল। গত পরশু তার নানা মারা যাওয়ায় তার আর পড়তে বসা হয়নি। তবে ভাইভা বোর্ডে তার পছন্দের ডা. আজিজার স্যার থাকবেন তাই একটু স্বস্তির নিঃশ্বাস ফেলল 😇

🙇রাজু: Death is permanent and irreversible cessation of function of 3 interlinked vital system of the body namely the nervous system , cirulatory system and respiratory system.

🙇রাজু: স্যার Clinically there are 2 types of death –
- Somatic or systemic or clinical death
- Cellular or molecular death
আর Medicolegally there are 4 types of death-
- Suicidal
- Homicidal
- Accidental &
- Natural death

🙇রাজু: Molecular death may be defined as the death of tissue and cells individually and which takes place one to two hours after the stoppage of vital function.. 🙂
🗣এক্সটারনাল: Somatic death এর importance টা বলতে পারবা…?

- Issuing death certificate
- Organ transplantation.
- Eg : -Heart ,
- kidney, liver ( immediate after death )
- Cornea ( within 6 hrs )
- Skin ( within 24 hrs )
- Blood and bones ( within 48 hrs)Resuscitation

🙇রাজু : There are three modes of death.
- Coma ( that means failure of function of brain)
- Syncope ( failure of function of heart)
- Asphyxia ( failure of function of respiratory system)
🗣 এক্সটারনাল : হুমম😊.. এবার বলো যে এক ব্যক্তির Brain fuction permanent cessation হইছে ।তুমি বুঝবা কিভাবে?( criteria of brain death)

1) Unreceptivity and unresponsivity
-Deep unconsciousness with absence of motor responses within the cranial distribution on painful stimuli.
2) No spontaneous muscular movement in response to stimuli such as pain , touch , sound or light.
3) Apnoea
- absence of spontaneous breathing for one hour.
4) Absence of elicitable reflexes
- Pupils are fixed and completely dilated and not responding to direct source of bright light.
- Absence of all corneal and conjuctival reflexes.
Absence of stretch tendon and pharyngeal reflexes..
5) Flat isoelectric ECG (confirmatory value)

🙇রাজু: স্যার, Brain stem death is the stage in which there is permanent cessation of function of the brain stem , but the cerebrum may remain intact , although it’s function is cut off by the stem leison .

Death trance is a condition in which all signs of life seemed to be absent although the individual still remain alive which can be detected by ECG and EEG .
স্যার Death trance voluntarily হতে পারে ।
যেমন- In case of practitioners of Yoga .

🙇রাজু : Sudden death is the death , which is not known to have been caused by any trauma , poisoning or violent asphyxia , and where death occurs all on a sudden or within 24 hrs of the onset of the terminal symptoms .

1 . By repeated auscultation over a period longer than 5 minutes for the evidence of cessation of heart beat and respiration . Finding : –
Absent of pulse ( radial , brachial and carotid artery )
Absent heart beat
Non – recordable blood pressure
Absent respiratory movement and breath sound.
- Fix, non – reacting & dilated pupil.
- Opthalmoscopy : To detect segmentation of retinal blood .
- Absence of all sensory , motor functions and reflexes .
- Demonstration of rectal temperature
- ECG
