আইটেমের টেবিলে Forensic Ballistics

আইটেম টেবিলে বসে আছে রোল ৭০,৭১,৭২।আজ তাদের ফরেনসিক ব্যালিস্টিক আইটেম।যদিও মেডিক্যাল সমাজে তারা আঁতেল নামে পরিচিত তবুও আইটেম টেবিলে বসে ভয় তো একটু করেই। এর মধ্যেই স্যার আইটেম কার্ড হাতে চলে আসলেন। আইটেম কার্ড গুলো টেবিলে রেখেই রোল ৭০ কে প্রশ্ন করলেন, What is firearm?

🔺Firearm is defined as any instrument which discharge projectile by expansive force of the gases produced by burning of an explosive substance.

🔺A fireamr is consist of a metal barrel which is hollow cylindrical with varying length.It has 2 ends:

At the front end the barrel is opened called muzzle end

The barrel is closed at the back end called breech end.

Inside the barrel it has 3 parts:

B.Lead or cone
C.The bore

🔺এটি usually দেখা যায় যদি কোন লোডেড ফায়ারআর্ম অনেক বছর ধরে unused থাকে অথবা কোন ডিফেক্টেড ফায়ারআর্ম বা faulty ammunition এর বেলায়।
এ সময় weapon টি যখন ফায়ার করা হয় তখন বুলেট মাজেল থেকে বের হয় না কিন্তু যখন আবার ফায়ার করা হয় তখন দুইটি বুলেট একসাথে বের হয়ে যায়।ফলে দুইটি বুলেটের entrance wound same থাকে।

স্যারঃ আচ্ছা এই যে entrance wound এর কথা যে বললা এই entrance wound কে exit wound থেকে differentiate কিভাবে করবা?মেইন মেইন পয়েন্ট গুলা বলো।

🔺১.Entrance wound exit wound থেকে ছোট হবে।
২.Entrance wound circular হবে তবে exit wound irregularly circular হবে।
৩.Entrance wound এ burning, blackening, bruising, abrasion, grease collar দেখা যাবে যা exit wound এ থাকবে না।

স্যারঃআচ্ছা রোল ৭৩ বলো bleeding কোথায় বেশি থাকবে?

🔺Exit wound এ বেশি থাকবে স্যার।

স্যারঃ কেন?

🔺 Bullet তার spinning এর জন্য অনেক তাপ উৎপন্ন করে যার কারণে bullet যখন বডিতে প্রবেশ করে তখন তাপ এর কারনে entrance wound এর আশেপাশের সব arteries constricted হয়ে যায়। ফলে bleeding কম হয়।আর এই কারনেই entrance wound এ burning দেখা যায়।

কোথায়?

🔺স্যার point blank range হচ্ছ forehead এ আর contact range হচ্ছে বডির যে কোন জায়গায়।

🔺Ricochet bullet is one which before striking the object aimed at, strikes some intervening object first and then after ricocheting and rebounding from this hits the object.

🔺কোন বুলেট যদি বডিতে লম্বা সময়ের জন্য থেকে যায় তবে তার surrounding area তে কোন fresh bleeding হয় না এবং entrance wound টি একটি dense fibrous tissue capsule দিয়ে আবৃত হয়ে যায়।একেই souvenir bullet বলে।

স্যারঃএর কারনে বডিতে lead poising ও হতে পারে।

স্যারঃরোল ৭৩ আমাকে kennedy phenomenon টা সুন্দর করে বুঝায় বলতো।

🔺 Jhon F Kennedy, USA এর সাবেক প্রেসিডেন্ট একটি বুলেটের আঘাতে নিহত হন।তার মৃত্যুর পর একজন মেডিক্যাল ম্যান তার বুলেট টি বের করার চেস্টা করলে তার entrance wound টি বিকৃত হয়ে যায় যার ফলে পরবর্তীতে কোনটি entrance wound আর কোনটি exit wound তা নিয়ে দ্বিধা দন্ডের সৃষ্টি হয়।একেই Kennedy Phenomenon বলা হয় যেখানে surgical alternation এর কারনে gunshot wound, entrance wound না exit wound তা বুঝা যায় না।
